Here’s a fact: skin, that organ which makes up approximately 15% of the body’s total weight, is made up of three layers - epidermis, dermis, and the subcutaneous tissues. Here’s another fact: the dermis, which is our living skin and accounts for 90% of the bulk of our skin, is 75% collagen.

As we age, the collagen in our skin deteriorates. As skin ages, the dermis thins, resulting in collagen loss that progresses at a rate of 1.5% a year. Why do I know all these? Because skin is my business. I do skin research. I study skin and how to improve skin conditions.

For all my knowledge of skin, however, I cannot stop the inevitable. Age takes its toll even on researchers who know skin like they know the back of their hand. At 45 years old, I carry more than my fair share of wrinkles, creases, and sags.

Thankfully, I discovered a supplement I can run to for help. Encore collagen makes one do just that - ask for an encore. As pure collagen as type II collagen can get, Encore Collagen gives the skin what it needs - a collagen boost sans needles and injections. I took it to improve skin condition. Imagine my surprise when it ended up nourishing my hair too! With Encore collagen, not only does my skin look more taut, my hair gets to use some extra sheen, too.

I initially didn’t want to talk about this supplement because really, who relishes the idea of having ten other women in the same room use the same product she does? Duty won over self-interest, however. I am, after all, a skin researcher by profession and by choice. If something works - and well, at that - I should share it to others too, shouldn’t I?

Not all type II collagen are created equal. Encore collagen is by far heads and shoulders above the rest.

Isn’t it amazing how sometimes you take a pill for a specific purpose and you later realize that it not only did what it was supposed to do, it also did something even more amazing? Such was the case of Encore Collagen.

I looked at myself in the mirror one day and realized that I really was getting older. I knew it could only mean one thing – I needed more collagen! After all, it’s a fact that the dermis is 75% collagen. And because the dermis makes up 90% of my – and everyone’s – skin, and because it starts to age from 25 years onwards (and let’s just say that was light years away!), I knew that I needed get back the collagen that I’ve been losing - fast!

A friend recommended a certain brand of collagen cream, and I was pleased with the results. While surfing through the Internet one night, however, I found out that creams only use a very small fraction of actual collagen. Furthermore, these aren’t pure type 2 collagen! I figured if that’s the case, then I need a lot of ‘em pure type 2 collagen!

I could’ve chosen to get it injected to my face from time to time (shudder), but I have a nasty aversion of needles. Thankfully, I discovered Encore Collagen, which would allow me to take pure type 2 collagen in a little capsule. I must say, the results have been fantastic! It improved my skin considerably, yes, but how was I supposed to know it would improve hair texture as well? That’s right! I not only have smooth and healthy skin now, I also have smooth and healthy hair!

I was ecstatic. I’ve long since shared the secret of Encore Collagen with my friends not just to improve their skin, but to improve hair texture as well. It’s too juicy a secret to keep to myself! Why don’t you try it and see what I mean?
